Low Country Boil

Everything you need cooked up in 1 pot.


Ingredients:

2 tablespoon Old Bay

3 pounds red potatoes

2 12oz packages Andouille , cut into 1 inch pieces

4 ears fresh corn, husks and silks removed, cut in half

3 pounds snow crab

2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lemon cut in half

1 onion cut in half


Directions:

  1. Heat a large pot of water over an outdoor cooker, or on the stovetop over medium-high heat. Add seafood seasoning, onion, and lemon, then bring to a boil.

  2. Add potatoes and sausage and cook for 10 minutes.

  3. Add corn and crab and cook for another 5 minutes.

  4. Add shrimp when potatoes are almost tender and cook 3-4 mins.

  5. Drain water and spread boil onto butcher paper or pan.

  6. Sprinkle with more Old Bay, squeeze of lemon.
