Garlic Butter Salmon

Serve with wild rice & roasted veggies


Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1-1/2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic,minced

6 tbsp salted butter , cut into cubes

1 tsp lemon juice

2 tsp parsley , chopped


Directions:

  1. Take salmon out of fridge 30 minutes prior to cooking, sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.

  2. Heat oil in large non stick skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add salmon skin side down, and cook for 3 minutes until golden. Flip and continue cooking for 2 mins.

  4. Add butter. Once butter is melted, add garlic and start spooning the melted butter over the salmon for 2 minutes.

  5. Next add lemon juice and cook for 1-2 mins. Garnish with parsley.
